The “dropout” puppies are those who failed to be admitted in the federal services.
In order to finalize the adoption process ,owners must own an enclosed outdoor yard, not having any intention to move out in the next six months, and being capable of securing health care, nutrition, and sufficient training sessions.
Approved applicants are required to attend local rescues based in San Antonio, Antontio-Lackland, Texas where the puppies/ dogs are located.
There is no same-day adoption as the future to be owners need to travel more than once in order to settle the process.
The first visit is dedicated to arrange a meeting between the future owner and the dog, while the second visit is to take the pet home.
For every Shepherd you meet on the street chasing a criminal, several more did fail their training and will be waiting in Civil Rescue Houses for a second chance.
